Sandstone Ranch

Perry Park, Douglas County, CO

Sandstone Ranch is a 2,022-acre ranch with developers who were, and are, committed to preserve its rich western heritage through careful maintenance and restoration of the land and historic ranch structures for years to come. Being committed to developing this magnificent property with respect for its history and with an eye to all it could be for current residents as well as future community great care was taken to develop it with sustainable solutions.

We provided environmental planning and consulting services for this development, including creation of a Rural Site Plan (RSP). We delineated the wetlands onsite and prepared a wetlands report. We consulted on lot layout, site selection criteria, and minimizing impacts to wetlands and wildlife. We completed a Biological Assessment for endangered species in the area, Resource Conservation Exhibits, Historic and Cultural Resource Surveys, and text and editing support for legal documents.

“I’m going to be an enthusiastic support of the approval of this project. This project sets a new standard for Rural Site Plan, and it is where we want to go for the future, and I appreciate all the hard work that has gone into this. The environmental aspects of this are very positive. Job well done”

“This is setting a new standard in RSP, something I have never seen. I have to commend. And when I see all the plans and the mitigation plans you’re going to have to put together is just phenomenal, and just incredibly impressed. You have taken the RSP process to a level that is going to be very difficult for any other entity to stand up to. It’s an incredible, incredible project. I have to commend the staff. Great work, great job”
