[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20″ image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Since graduating from Montana State University with a B.S. in Biology, Ecology and Evolution Option, Mr. Strauser has more than 10-years of experience in wildlife research and management. He has become well versed on the ecology of Rocky Mountain and Great Plain ecosystems and is often sought after for guidance on habitat management methodologies in these areas. While working for Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Mr. Strauser contributed to studies on a wide variety of species including snowshoe hares, Gunnison’s and white-tailed prairie dogs, American pikas, white-tailed ptarmigan, bighorn sheep, and mountain lions. He has trapped snowshoe hares in remote locations throughout Montana, Utah, Washington, and Oregon while working for the University of Montana, as well as trapped, collared and tracked the movements of Canada lynx in Colorado.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20″ image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Currently, at Smith Environmental and Engineering (SMITH), Mr. Strauser acts as the Ecological Management Group Manager. He is responsible for research, scheduling field work, carrying-out data analyses, and technical report preparation. He assists clients with noxious weed, small mammal, and avian management, which assists cities, counties, and contractors with compliance with regulations that are applicable to natural resources.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
