Delivering Sustainable Environmental Solutions
After years of searching for the right building in the right location, followed by working through months of negotiations and remodeling, SMITH Environmental and Engineering is thrilled to say we have finally moved into our 10,000 sq. ft. building! We are located now in Dacono, Colorado with easy access to I-25 and a breath-taking view of Longs Peak! Our new facility not only houses all our professional services groups but the warehouse and our new equipment yard allow us to house all our trucks, field equipment, supplies, and product so we can work more efficiently and make our mobilization times faster than ever.
Welcome to the new website for Smith Environmental and Engineering! Thank you so much for your interest in the site and in what we do. I am delighted to have you pay a visit and hope that you enjoy your experience viewing our new space here. A lot of planning and effort went in to developing this site with the intent of making who we are and what we do more accessible to our readers. I welcome your feedback on anything we can do to enhance your viewing experience here and sincerely appreciate your comments on it. We are always looking for ways to improve our delivery of information and service, and this website is no exception to that principle.
By necessity, as environmental scientists, engineers, and technicians we look at the issue of sustainability in context of our given fields of discipline and collaboration. Land reclamation, land development, and land management all require a collaboration of efforts and expertise. Sustainability in the context of land reclamation, i.e. land that has been degraded by past mining or oil and gas development is the development and implementation of a land use solution that creates a dramatic improvement to the land, which is self-perpetuating – needing little to no assistance from us to continue in this improved condition.
